Scenario
Valentina leads sales and business development for a Fortune 500 company.
She travels 3 out of 4 weeks in the month, and when she travels, it’s almost always internationally. Between all her travel to different time zones and a busy meeting schedule in different cities, she finds it challenging to keep up with her calendar to show up to the right places at the right time.

User Research
Target User Group and their goal
Almost every other person uses a digital calendar these days for their appointments and meetings. Working professionals is a major target group considering the fact that they require these calendars to keep track of the meetings and schedules, so that they can plan their day accordingly and not be late to their scheduled meetings.
One such subset target group I considered for this project is a sales and business development professional. The primary reason for targeting this subset group is because they are always on the move, travelling across various countries and continents and hence they often find it difficult to manage and keep up with their calendar to show up to the right places at the right time.
Goal
Design a calendar flow and interface that is smart enough to suggest meeting times, accounts for changing time zones, and is proactively working for the user to make sure they are always on time for their meetings.
Competitive Analysis
I tried to understand the current methods available to track daily meetings, events, etc.
The major products that I found were available in the market are Apple Calendar and Google Calendar

Ideate
My ideation was to create a very simple version of the calendar, along with travel related features. It would be a one-stop application, with a combination of scheduling and planning features for users who travel a lot for their meetings and interactions. Major focus of the application would be to help the user figure out the different meetings globally and keep track of the same, as well as help them figure out the travel feasibilities between meetings.

High Fidelity Prototype
What I could have done better
Adding a help feature for the user and bringing in more customization for the user.
User testing using low fidelity prototype to gather feedback and insights.
Talk to experienced salesperson who have used such platforms before and have faced similar challenges.
Create task flows and then do usability tests to optimize the flows
